DeAnna reject Jason will be ‘The Bachelor’

I’ll do the dumping around here“There are no second acts in American lives,” F. Scott Fitzgerald wrote, producing what must be the most-frequently disproven famous quote in history.

The latest American to get his second turn is none other than Jason Mesnick, the single dad who proposed to DeAnna Pappas in the finale of “The Bachelorette,” only to be told she was going with the other guy.

Now, Jason can get is revenge for that humiliation by dumping 24 women, proposing to a 25th and then dumping her a couple of weeks later. ABC announced that Jason is the 13th fellow to earn the title of “The Bachelor.”

ABC does not have “The Bachelor” on the fall schedule, which means it probably will air in January, unless a hole appears in the schedule sooner than that.
