At last, some good news about “Survivor: Gabon.”
After reports of production disasters while filming in the West African nation, we worried that the season might be delayed. But CBS tells us that the 17th season will launch, as expected, a week ahead of the rest of the network’s fall schedule.
Kickoff night is Thursday, Sept. 18.
Good news, too, for fans of “The Amazing Race.” The show actually has a slot on the fall lineup, unlike last year, when we had to wait for “Viva Laughlin” to get cancelled for “TAR” to get a slot. Season 13 begins Sunday, Sept. 28.
