‘Boston Legal’ in, ‘New Amsterdam’ out

‘New Amsterdam’The fate of two more “bubble shows” was decided this weekend.

ABC gave a fifth season to David E. Kelley’s zany legal dramedy “Boston Legal.” The series will produce at least 13 more episodes.

Even though there has been no formal announcement, several reports have Fox cancelling the first-year drama “New Amsterdam.” The series about an immortal police detective managed modest ratings, although outperforming Fox’s more heavily promoted “Canterbury’s Law.”
