Favorite show coming back? Not so fast …

Izzies tough choice - George or the sandwich?Good news, “Grey’s Anatomy” fans. You’ll get a new episode next week. The bad news? That’s the last new episode until the writers strike is resolved.

As the networks prepare to roll out their “second season” this month, they will do so without most of their top-rated dramas and comedies.

Joining “Grey’s Anatomy” in the critical ward are “CSI,” “CSI: Miami,” “Desperate Housewives,” “NCIS,” and Emmy-winning comedy “30 Rock” – each with one episode left.

At least they’re better off than “How I Met Your Mother,” “Two and a Half Men,” “The Office” and “Heroes,” all of which are out of new episodes. And poor “24” looks like it won’t have a season at all unless something changes soon.

Slightly better off: “House,” “Law & Order: SVU,”  and “Samantha Who,” which return with new episodes mid-month and look like they might be able to limp through a week or two of February sweeps.
