The top half of the Top 10 was easy this week. Two of the best shows of the fall, “Survivor: China” and “Dexter” wrap things up Sunday night, making the top two slots obvious. “Life on Mars,” the excellent BBC America series, returns for season two on Tuesday.

The bottom of the list was much harder, as there are so few worthy series still showing new episodes. We gave the underappreciated “Journeyman” a mention; just three episodes left this season - and probably ever. As for “Law & Order: Criminal Intent” - at least it’s still showing new episodes. And it gives us a chance to plug Alicia Witt, who is doing a great job as Chris Noth’s new partner.
