High School Musical 2 Invade Disneyland

If you start to hear high-pitched screams and shrieks in the vicinity of Disneyland on Tuesday, don’t be alarmed — it’s mostly likely just Zac Efron or Vanessa Hudgens or Corbin Bleu getting the tweens and teens all in a tizzy.

“High School Musical 2″ — the sequel to the wildly successful Disney Channel movie, soundtrack and concert tour – will hold its red-carpet premiere at Downtown Disney on Tuesday afternoon.

Stars — including the rest of the teen cast, Ashley Tisdale, Lucas Grabeel and Monique Coleman — will be on hand, as will other celebrities including — well, we best not say. But you can find out by checking back to Pedro and the Watcher starting around noon Tuesday.

A little birdy told us — forget it, we’ll rat him out, it was Goofy — that the premiere may not be all that Disneyland has planned to celebrate the movie that premieres Friday on the Disney Channel.

So again, come to Pedro all Tuesday afternoon for updates on all things HSM.
